  5. As  a  long-time  Commodore  developer,  Sultan  Systems  &  Software  has  been
  6. manufacturing  and  distributing Amiga specific products since 1988.  Recently a
  7. new devision inside our company has been created, called EuroCD.
  8.  
  9. The  EuroCD  project  consists  of  a  bimonthly  publicated  CD-Rom  for  Amiga
  10. computers.   Each  CD-Rom  is filled with the latest Shareware and Public Domain
  11. software,  collected  both  from the Internet and our own sources.  Each CD will
  12. contain  a  mix  of  all  kinds of all kinds of software, so that the CD will be
  13. interesting for a maximum amount of users.

  15. All  software can be started directly from CD, thus no installing on harddisk or
  16. floppydisk is needed to use the programs.  Due to this, the user-friendliness is
  17. of  a high quality.  The user only has to insert the CD, and will immediately be
  18. able to use the programs in a 'cick-and-play' manner.  The CD can autoboot on OS
  19. 1.3,  2.x  and  3.x  systems.  Of course, usability of the software on the CD is
  20. dependent of the specific program itself.

  22. The  CD's  will  be  packed  in  a  CD Mediabox, which is an unbreakable storage
  23. alternative with the standard jewel-box measurements.  The box as well as the CD
  24. are  printed  in full-colour, guaranteeing the EuroCD product to 'stand out from
  25. the crowd'.

  27. For  the  distribution  of  EuroCD,  we  are looking for several distributors in
  28. countries throughout the world, so if you are interested, please contact us.

  30. The  second  issue of EuroCD is planned for an end of november '96 release.  The
  31. advised  retailprice  will  be Hfl.  24,95, which is approximately equivalent to
  32. USD  12,50,  DEM  19,95  or  UKP 7,99.  Because of this low price and the steady
  33. bimonthly publication, we think that EuroCD will be able to compete with similar
  34. existing  products  and  eventually  become  the  leading Amiga shareware/public
  35. domain publication.

  42. There are some restrictions:
  43.  
  44. All  your  work  must  be  in one main-directory.  In this directory you may put
  45. subdirectories.  All your programs, utils and so on must:
  46.  
  47.                           1) Start by clicking the mouse
  48.                           2) Using Workbench 2.x or 3.x
  49.                           3) Not make use of Mui
  50.                           4) Not make use of MagicWB
  51.                           5) Or other modified Workbenches
  52.  
  53. All  your  programs,  files,  utils,  demo's,  games  and  so  on, must have the
  54. possibility to quit without distorting/crashing the Amiga-system.

  58. Please  complete  your  main-directory with a .CD-xx file in which you write the
  59. following:
  60.  
  61. 1) Description of your file, so, one picture, one description, ten pictures, ten
  62.    descriptions,  althoug  they are all in the same directory.  One program, one
  63.    description  about  what  your  program  does.   Every description may not be
  64.    longer than 100 characters
  65.  
  66. 2) Your name.
  67.  
  68. 3) If you want, your address, phone-, email- and/or faxnumber.
  69.  
  70. 4) Decide which kind it is:  PublicDomain, ShareWare, FreeWare,
  71.    PostWare or other...
  72.  
  73. 5) Complete the ReadmECD with: Sent for use on EuroCD.
